Why Young Learners Love Them:

  • A Tangible Connection
  • Bridges the gap between the digital screen and hands-on music making, making theory feel real, touchable, and friendly.
  • Boosts Practice Confidence
  • Having a familiar face from the course helps melt away practice nerves and builds confidence for those first "big performances" at home.
  • A "Focus" Friend
  • Every young musician needs a listener! These Mates provide a steady, encouraging presence that helps students stay focused at their instrument.

Why Teachers Need Them:

  • Visual Teaching Aid
  • Use the Hand Puppet to instantly capture a child's attention.
  • Break the Ice
  • Perfect for shy students; a buddy can "ask" the questions or give feedback, making the lesson feel like a playdate rather than a lecture.
  • Engagement Tool
  • Encourage students to "perform" for Kosy or Bean, keeping them motivated to finish their weekly goals and build performance confidence.
